Maison Francis Kurkdjian
Francis Kurkdjian; a perfumer who hosts an unmatched perfume collection, a perfumer who dances with fragrance. He is someone who is taken by the magical world of perfume and who creates a difference in custom designed perfume. He designs his perfumes meticulously with his infinite attention and authentic accumulation of knowledge that is evident in the choice of luxurious, absolute, and rare essential oils. For Kurkdjian a perfume is an approach that broadens daily as well as being an art of life. He seeks to create in his designs a world where the perfumes echo each other from dawn to dusk, from dusk to dawn. Kurkdjian is a perfumer who designed many ofituary installations and performances. He created iconic fragrances For Her with Narciso Rodrigues, Le Male with Jean Paul Gaultier, My Burberry for Burberry, Le Parfum with Elie Saab and Armani Mania for Giorgio Armani. Kurkdjian was awarded the François Coty Perfumer for his life’s work, received the Perfumer of the Year award of the Cosmétique Magazine and he was named a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French Minister of Culture.
Histoires de Parfums
Gérald Ghislain wrote his own story with the frantic rhythm of a passionate jack of all trades. Insatiable wonderer, he listens, reads and discovers, drawing inspiration from his trips and encounters. Gerald is impulsive and fully committed to his projects. Perfumery is an old dream of his. Following a solid training at ISIPCA, Gerald founded Histoires de Parfums in 2000 and created a collection of twelve rare and delicate perfumes : these perfumes like him are rich in temperament and so, so romantic!. Histoires de Parfums’perfumes perpetuate the French perfumery know-how, which features are luxury, nobility and creativity. Histoires de Parfums maintains the highest qualitative standards in the choice of the raw materials as well as in the choice of the bottles, packaging and communication tools. With this perfume library, Gerald Ghislain wanted to evoke stories through scent just as books are written with emotions.
Aedes de Venustas
Aedes de Venustas situated in the heart of the West Village of New York City positioned as the ultimate Art Perfume Gallery specialized in fine fragrances since 1995. World famous destination for all perfume lovers, celebrities, socialite and fashion designers in search of superior customer experience. Its baroque boudoir décor and elegantly curated selection have long made the Greenwich Village boutique the Mecca of perfume connoisseurs. In 2012, co- owners Karl Bradl and Robert Gerstner took their passion for fragrance to its logical consequence by founding a full-fledged perfume house that would reflect their esthetic stance while affording top perfumers the freedom to experiment with unique, original notes. Ineke
Ineke Rühland is a professional nose creating original fragrances in her independent studio in San Francisco. Born and educated in Canada, she moved to Europe in 1988 to embark on a career in the fragrance industry. As one of a small number of classically-trained perfumers in the world, Ineke uses a time- honored approach to developing new scents. In her perfumery studio, she uses notes such as lilac, magnolia, angel’s trumpet and peony for her eau de parfums. An enthusiastic gardener, she also derives inspiration from her collection of rare scented botanicals. Her passion for literature, design and the arts are reflected in every bottle. Through original photos, beautiful artwork and snippets of verse, Ineke crafts an intimate story for each scent. With seven fragrances to date, the Ineke line caters to those with a sophisticated ap- preciation for unique fragrance.
